First Aid Quick Course for Scouts (online + in class)

This quick first aid course is suitable for all members of the scouting in The Netherlands aged 12 years and older who have no specific prior knowledge of first aid.
During this quick course for scouts, you learn the First Aid interventions for the seven most common injuries. You learn how you bring a person to safety, how to assess their condition and alert the emergency services.
Under the supervision of a certified Red Cross instructor, you learn how to administer First Aid to someone who is unresponsive (excluding Basic Life Support/AED), or who has a burn, an injury to skin, bones, muscles or joints, a cut or graze, poisoning or bleeding, or is choking. The course also includes topics that may be especially applicable for Scouts.
Once you have completed the course successfully, you receive a Red Cross First Aid certificate.
