In this course, learn basic First Aid skills, including Basic Life Support and the use of an AED.
During this Basic First Aid course, you learn the essential basic First Aid Skills, including Basic Life Support and the use of an AED. You learn how you bring a person to safety, how to assess their condition and alert the emergency services.
Under the supervision of a certified Red Cross instructor, you learn how to administer First Aid to someone who is unresponsive, bleeding, choking or suffocating, has a burn, cut, graze, bruise, sprain, bone fracture or poisoning.
Once you have completed the course successfully, you receive an European-recognised Red Cross First Aid certificate. The certificate is valid for two years, and may be extended by doing a refresher course. After completion of the entire classroom course, for reference, you receive the Course Book First Aid.
