Learn and practice how to resuscitate babies, children and adults and use an AED in this supervised CPR course.
Resuscitating babies and children is different from resuscitating an adult person. During the resuscitation course for babies, children and adults, you will learn what the differences are and exactly how to act.
During this course, learn and practice how to resuscitate babies, children and adults and how to use an AED. You will learn how to bring a victim to safety, assess the condition and alert the emergency services. Under the guidance of a certified Red Cross instructor, you will learn to provide first aid to a victim with unconsciousness with breathing and unconsciousness without breathing. You practice the skills learned to perform CPR and use an AED on resuscitation manikins of different sizes (baby, child and adult).
If you successfully complete the course, you will receive a European-recognized Red Cross Resuscitation Certificate at the end of the course. The certificate is valid for two years and can be extended by taking a refresher course. After completing the fully classroom course, you will receive the CPR & AED mini guide as a reference. If you choose the course variant with an online part, you will have access to the online module for a year after completing the course.
