In this First Aid Course, you learn all the skills to administer First Aid, including Basic Life Support and the use of an AED.
Please note: It is important that you complete the e-learning course (online module) successfully before you start the classroom part. At the start of the course, the instructor checks whether you have completed the online part of the course.
The online module is accessible for one year after purchase.
During this First Aid course, you learn all the skills that are needed to administer First Aid adequately, including Basic Life Support and the use of an AED. You learn how you bring a person to safety, how to assess their condition and alert the emergency services.
Under the supervision of a certified Red Cross instructor, you learn how to administer First Aid to someone who is unresponsive or has a bruise, sprain, dislocation, cut, graze, burn, neck or spinal injury, stroke, chest pain, poisoning or is choking or suffocating.
Once you have completed the course successfully, you receive a Worldwide recognized Red Cross First Aid certificate. The certificate is valid for two years, and may be extended by doing a refresher course. After completion of the classroom part of the course, you have one year's access to the online module.
