In this First Aid for Sports Workshop, you learn how to provide First Aid for the most common sports injuries.
During this First Aid for Sports Workshop, you learn the First Aid interventions for the seven most common sports injuries. You learn how you bring an athlete to safety, how to assess their condition and alert the emergency services.
Under the supervision of a certified Red Cross instructor, you learn how to administer First Aid to someone who is unresponsive (excluding Basic Life Support/AED), or who has a burn, cut or graze, a sprain/bruise, fractured bone, dislocation, head injury or hypothermia.
After completion of the workshop, you receive a proof of participation and, for reference, the Course Book First Aid for Sports.
